At our school, camps and excursions are an important part of our learning program. They provide rich, real-world experiences that build confidence, independence and a deeper connection to the curriculum and community.
Students have the opportunity to participate in a variety of engaging activities, including:
- 2–3 day camp for year 3–6 classes—held on Kanomi Island or another local location
- Overnight Father's Day camp out—a camp over on our school oval to include our whole school and their fathers
- Combined school events—held in the Capricorn Coast, fostering friendships and collaboration with neighbouring schools
- Local excursions—day or overnight trips to explore attractions and events throughout the Livingstone Shire
These experiences are carefully planned to complement classroom learning while supporting student wellbeing and social development.
