At Byfield State School, we recognise that a student’s wellbeing is just as important as their academic success. We are committed to supporting the mental, emotional and physical health of every student through both whole-school programs and individual support.

A key part of our approach includes the use of the Resilience Project—a mindfulness-based wellbeing program designed specifically for schools. Through this program, students develop skills in:

  • emotional regulation
  • self-awareness and reflection
  • focus and concentration
  • resilience and stress management.

The Resilience Project is integrated into classroom routines and activities, helping students build lifelong habits that support positive mental health.

Together with families and community partners, we aim to help every student feel calm, confident and connected.
